With a professional background in the pet industry which involved managing a pet hotel, grooming, breeding Golden Retrievers responsibly as well as working in customer care at Veterinary Referral and Critical Care and Shady Grove Animal Clinic facilitating clients needs throughout their visit. Kimberly's background experiences deepened her compassion, strengthened her communication skills, and provided even more insight into the human-animal bond.

One of the most meaningful experiences for Kimberly was raising her first Golden Retriever puppy, Koby. He was the grandson of Judge—a dog she fell in love with while traveling to dog shows. He came from a long line of titled champions. With Koby, she worked to earn his AKC Canine Good Citizen title, and their time together deepened her passion for the breed. She also worked to earn the AKC STAR Puppy title with Prince, her Standard Poodle. Kimberly has completed countless puppy foundation and manners classes over the years and had the incredible experience when young of working for and traveling with a professional handler, attending dog shows, and immersing herself in the world of structure, temperament, and breed standards.

Kimberly is especially passionate about puppies—and how their early experiences shape who they become. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, she is fascinated by development, behavior, and the way positive experiences can influence brain growth and confidence in children. That curiosity and education have deeply influenced her interest in the puppy brain. Kimberly continues to learn more through continued education and experience that involves positive reinforced based practices.

She is a Fear Free Certified Professional and CPR trained through the American Red Cross. Specializing in early puppy enrichment and socialization Kimberly created Social Sniffers to support new puppy parents and help to provide the best possible start during their most sensitive developmental weeks. Through in-home visits or calm, guided outings and exposure, she can help contribute to young puppies growth into a confident, well-adjusted companion.

Helping puppies feel safe, understood, and confident is what Kimberly enjoys doing most.

**If you have an older puppy or dog with troubling issues such as reactivity or aggression Kimberly can refer you to a qualified Fear Free Certified Behaviorist.
